Dr. Dionne Paine

Born and raised in Kingston, Dr. Dionne Paine grew up watching Dr. Keller, and the team at Cataraqui Pet Hospital care for her family’s long list of pets. She was inspired to move to the East Coast to pursue her passion for learning about animals. She completed her Bachelor of Science with a Certificate in Animal Behaviour at Dalhousie University. She earned her DVM from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2017. While there, she co-founded the AVC’s Animal Nutrition Club and established its active chapter status with the American Academy of Veterinary Nutrition. She also earned her Fear Free Certification, which focuses on reducing pet fear, anxiety and stress in the veterinary setting. Dr. Paine is excited to be back in the Kingston region. Joining Dr. Keller and his veterinary team feels like coming home.
